Who We Are
For over 110 years, Köppern has been a successful, medium-sized enterprise in the area of special machine manufacturing, plant design and construction. We are one of the world’s market and technology leaders for roller presses and grinding rollers. 

Our family-run enterprise reflects the traditional values of technology leadership and highly dependable manufacturing quality ‘made in Germany’, coupled with a unique regard for the individual needs of our customers. We have close connections to our international markets through our local subsidiaries, which provide customized services on all continents.

Our head office and manufacturing facilities are in Hattingen, close to the cities of Essen and Bochum on the southern rural outskirts of Germany’s Ruhr area. The Köppern Group has about 275 employees, of which some 160 are located in Hattingen.
